Welcome, July! Hard to believe we’re already at mid-summer. I’m loving the warm weather and long days. We in Seattle wait a long time for this time of year!
Here are some of my favorite purchases last month that I just had to share with you. All of the pics are clickable so you can snag my favs for yourself!

Like everyone else, I fell victim to the Stanley craze last year. And honestly, there was a lot to like about the Stanley: it kept my water cold and my ice frozen, it had a straw, it could hold a LOT of water. But the spilling was problematic, and so was the handle that was always in the way. Onto the newest water bottle craze: Owala. I really love this thing. I’ve had a model in shades of blue for a while now, but my teenager is constantly stealing it, so I got myself a new one. These colors make me so happy!
If you’re thinking about getting an Owala, or already have one, I suggest snagging some metal straws to replace the plastic one it ships with. I’m trying to be mindful of how much plastic I ingest, and these straws are a good way to do that!

I’m a new full-time glasses wearer as of last month, and it’s shocking (and irritating) how dirty they get. My husband has worn glasses forever and turned me on to this magical little device that cleans glasses so effectively. I bought one for my purse, for my car, for my carry on…you get the idea. I’m hooked.
Let me preface this next fav with saying that I don’t mind scented products, but I’m VERY choosy. I don’t use dryer sheets or scent beads, and this is the only scented detergent I’ve ever liked. It just smells so good and high-quality. I reserve it mostly for linens, as my husband and son prefer their laundry unscented. But it’s such great detergent. It gets my towels and sheets clean and leaves a very subtle but enchanting scent behind.

I’m really sensitive to the sun (hello, fair skin!) and burn incredibly easily. A hat is my go-to for sun protection, after SPF. I ordered Madewell’s lantern hat, which looked so cute on their site, but I was disappointed when it arrived and was floppier than I was expecting. Enter: this dupe from Amazon. I was delighted when this guy came in the mail. Only $20 and great structure. A total score.
While we’re on the topic of hats, I snagged this slick little accessory to make traveling with a hat much easier. It’s so simple, just a magnet attached to your bag, but it makes a world of difference when you’re going someplace sunny and don’t want to wear your hat on the plane.

We have a senior dog who, unfortunately, occasionally mistakes our guest bathroom bath mat for a pee pad. I ordered this stone bath mat recently and love it. The look is good, it mops up water quickly and easily, and most importantly, our dog is not inclined to go potty there.
I’ve been looking for a setting spray that doesn’t make my face look totally matte, and this Powder Melt Setting Spray from One/Size is so great. I’ve used it every day since picking it up!

Do you guys remember Benefit’s Benetint? I used it all the time in my 20’s and just recently have been looking for different shades of lip tints. I learned about these K Beauty lip oil tints from a creator on TikTok and have been really pleasantly surprised by their lasting power and how they don’t suck all of the moisture from my lips. The stain lasts all day, too! They have quite a few shades and I highly recommend picking up a duo so you can try more than one.
It seems like everyone on the internet is raving about the Rhode Glazing Milk, but I’m an Ilia loyalist. This stuff feels so nourishing and hydrating as the first step in my post-cleanse skincare routine. I can’t imagine making the switch to anything else. It’s even more luxurious in the hot weather as it has a nice cooling effect on the skin. A must have.

The other night I was at a girlfriend’s house for a birthday celebration and got bright blue frosting on my light pink top. After I changed into the cardigan I always have in my bag, my friend Tiffany took my top and with the help of (new to me) Fels-Naptha, the stain was out in seconds. It was like magic. I ran home and ordered myself a couple of bars to have on hand.

I made the switch from Olaplex to this Kerastase Genesis shampoo this month, and my hair is loving it. The shampoo has a lightweight feel and doesn’t weigh my hair down at all. The scent is beautiful too – citrusy!
What did you pick up in June that surprised and delighted you? I’d love to hear!
